AME 8th Avenue : Taking the Streets of Harajuku
This year happens to be the fourth time I've attended the annual AME event. This year I came in a classic maid lolita getup while my sister Lora cosplayed as her favorite music icon Ayumi Hamasaki. Shall-chan and my sister's friend Christine also came with us. Christine cosplayed as a student from the anime series Princess Princess. Another friend of Lora, (I forgot her name, so sorry) met with us at the venue & she came in a generic harajuku getup.
It was great that they came up with a baggage counter this year, which was extremely helpful to relieve us people with humongous bags & stuff & allow us to roam freely without the hassle of worrying about losing our things. I'm not too fond of visiting the booths, so I can't say much if they had anything new to offer. Like the previous years I went there for almost only one reason - cosplay. I was able to meet up with lots of friends, old & new - Shiro-dono (missed you tons), Shinji-kun (arbor ng platform boots waaahahaha), Kerrigan (long time no see ^___^), Lyrone (luv your orange hair dude), Minaru-chan (thanks for reserving the DAMeat pins for me), Kune (I spotted her at the ladies room)...who else...and everybody else wahahaha my memory is darn killing me v(^_____^)v peace everyone

And last but not the least, thanks so much also to Nomer Calma, our beloved "mananahi" who has been sewing & toiling over our cosplay costumes since I started cosplaying last 2006. Sobrang thanks, Mang Nomer!! (He was also the one who made Lora's & Christine's get ups for this event, my Vampire Knight night class uniform I've worn since time immemorial, our group cosplay FFXIII Agito getups, the DGrayman getup below, and lots of other costumes ^___^ )
